Titleist on Tour: Photos and Updates from the 2015 Valero Texas Open

With only two events remaining before the first major championship of the season, the PGA TOUR heads to Texas for the first of two events that will serve as the final dress rehearsals for Augusta.

As the field gets ready to take on the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio, they’ll be greeted by a 7,433-yard, par-72  layout that features a mix of narrow, tree-lined fairways and wider holes offering multiple risk/reward options.

Titleist Brand Ambassadors and Lone Star state natives Jordan Spieth and Jimmy Walker will be looking to capitalize on a little local knowledge along with the added comfort of being close to home this week.

“It's very special.  As a native Texan I always like playing the Texas events,” said Spieth.

“This event, in particular, gave me an exemption when I was in college… So it's a tournament that has helped launch my career and one that is close to my heart.  So I like being back here.”

And when it comes to taking home top honors on your home course, Jimmy Walker is looking forward to the opportunity.

“It would definitely be a lot of fun, it would be fun to hear the cheers from the crowd, being from here, and having a chance to win on Sunday,” said Walker.

“I think it would be a good experience. We'll see how it goes.”
