The junior golf world turned its attention to Bluffton, SC and Tulsa, OK this past weekend as some of the best young golfers in the world looked to take home top honors at the 2015 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship and the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship.
And as the top competitive junior golfers vied for these prestigious titles, Titleist was once again overwhelming golf ball of choice at both events.
At the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, held at Colleton River Plantation Club, 117 players in the field of 156 put their trust in a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, more than four times the nearest competitor with 25 and more than all competitors combined.
Titleist also led the field in fairway metals (119), hybrids (54), and iron sets (62) with Vokey Design wedges leading the way in the approach, sand and lob wedges (220) category and Scotty Cameron putters (67) topping the putter category.
It was a similar story at Tulsa Country Club, where 138 out of 156 players at the 2015 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship relied on a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than 19 times the nearest competitor with 7 and more than all competitors combined.
Titleist Vokey Design wedges also led the field in the approach, sand and lob wedge (201) category and Scotty Cameron putters (52) were the top choice in the putter category.
Congratulations to all the participants!
